There has been terrific excitement in Ballinamere over the past few weeks as work on the new Development Project is now in full swing. This new development will serve the entire community, with something for everybody. The centrepiece of the development will be the new second playing field, to be named The Jack Wyer Pitch in memory of one of the club’s most promising young players. In addition to the pitch, when complete, the development will include a Walking and Running Track, a new Practice Area, a Ball Wall, a new Stand, new Dressing Rooms and Additional Car Parking. This is a hugely ambitious undertaking for such a small but vibrant community and has been made possible by local community support of our Patron Scheme. Over 180 Patrons signed up to the four year scheme and their generous support has made this development a reality.
